蔡總統日前首度以三軍統帥身分視察空軍花蓮基地及佳山基地，後又到宜蘭視導海軍中正基地和宜蘭陸軍金六結營區，今天到憲兵239營視導憲兵。蔡總統上任後3週內視導了陸海空三軍種以及憲兵。
蔡總統上午近11時在國安會秘書長吳釗燮、國防部長馮世寬、參謀總長嚴德發上將陪同下抵達營區，先登上雲豹甲車繞行營區，隨後和官兵代表合影，最後再頒發加菜金給官兵弟兄。
蔡總統和官兵精神講話時表示，239營是憲兵唯一裝甲部隊，也是重要首都衛戍部隊，她看見大家在勤務上訓練上的精實和認真態度。
蔡總統指出，大家每天唱憲兵歌，歌詞提醒大家做為憲兵榮譽責任，有句「以匡以導、必身先之」，這也是她要提醒大家的事情，憲兵既然負責軍紀，對軍紀要求要比其他單位更為嚴格。
蔡總統說，現在是民主時代，憲兵勤務執行要有為有守，隨時提醒自己維護民主自由法治為要務；勤務部隊專心勤務，戰鬥部隊專心戰訓本務，基本工作做好，就是國軍要提升戰力最基本要求，憲兵做為「民眾之褓、軍伍之師」，更應該要做國軍改革表率。1050607
